Grading	In order to obtain credit for the course, a student has to take the final exam. The final grade is calculated as follows: Final exam : 50 percent Midterms: 40 percent (20% for each) Homework: 10 percent
Exams	Exam I will be on Friday, Oct. 6, in class. It covers Chapters 2, 3, 5. Exam I will be on Friday, Nov. 10, in class. It covers Sections 5.4, 5.5, 5.6, 6.1-6.5, 7.1, 7.4.
Homework	Here is the assigned homework for the class. The homework assigned in each week will be due in class on the next Friday.
