I am Associate Chair for Faculty, an Associate Professor and the Philippe Tondeur Scholar in Mathematics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I am a member of the Differential Equations and Applied Mathematics group and a faculty affiliate of the Computational Science and Engineering program.

I received an Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellowship in 2012, and an NSF Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Award in 2014. I was a 2014 Beckman Fellow of the Center for Advanced Study, and a 2016 Simons Fellow in Mathematics.

I completed my Ph. D. at Brown University in 2006; Walter Strauss was my advisor. I was a C. L. E. Moore instructor of Mathematics at MIT in 2006-2009.

I am teaching MATH 554 this semester.

I organized the 4th Midwest Women in Mathematics Symposium and wrote an article for Math Times.
