Accomodations
Hampton Inn at U of I
1200 W University Ave. (in Urbana), North of the Mathematics Department,
10 minutes walk.
Reservations: 217-337-1100, or 800-Hampton.
We have reserved a block of 60 rooms for the symposium at the Hampton Inn.
The blocked reservation has to be made directly through the Hampton Inn.
Accommodations are also available in the dormitories on campus. Details
to be announced.
Transportation, Parking and Maps
Planes: Willard
Airport (CMI)
in Champaign has service from Chicago and St. Louis (American Airlines),
Detroit and Minneapolis (Northwest).
Trains: Amtrak has
daily service to Champaign from the
north (Chicago) and from the south (New Orleans). From the station
(the "Illinois Terminal"),
catch almost any eastbound or southbound city
bus ($1.00) or
take a cab the 1 mile to the Union.
Automobiles: Champaign-Urbana is at the intersection of I-72, I-74 and
I-57.
