The President of the United States swam in the gulf next to Panama City in August 2010.

Now we can swim there too. Yes we can.

G3 conference on March 24-27, 2011, Panama City Beach, Florida.

Shuttle from airport.

The hotel offers a free shuttle on the way from the airport to the hotel (but not back!), and it requires a minimum 24 hour notice. Please call the hotel to arrange it.

If you'd like to give a talk.

We welcome interested graduate students, recent Ph.D., women, and minorities to apply. There are several time slots and some (usually limited) travel/accommodation support available. If you are interested in giving a talk at the G3 conference or to be supported for travel, please send us an email to Ben McReynolds at dmcreyn at math uchicago edu with a short description of your research, an abstract of the proposed talk, and any other information you find relevant. Please keep in mind that this is a small conference, which unfortunately means that many of the applicants will not have an opportunity for a talk or to be supported for travel.

Certain time during the conference will be devoted to poster sessions/discussions; please do use this option. There will also be a place designated for article/preprints for the duration of the conference; participants are very much encouraged to bring them (one or multiple copies).

If you'd like to have a G3 sweatshirt

We will be ordering some more G3 sweatshirt soon. They will be similar to this one, these ones, or those ones. We do not know the price yet, but please contact Josh Barnard jbarnard at jaguar1 usouthal edu if you have any questions regagrding the sweatshirts. If you'd like to have some, mention the size you need (small, medium, large), and how many.
