Travel and other Visitor Information

See the University Visitor Information Page for maps, directions, parking information, and campus information. Most local hotels offer courtesy transportation to and from the Champaign airport. In addition, LEX Express (217-352-6682) provides door-to-door shuttle service from the airport to town; they usually have a representative at the airport meeting incoming flights.

The Lincolnland Express can be used for transportation from the Chicago or Indianapolis airports. It takes about three hours (one way) and costs approximately $50. Upon arrival in Champaign-Urbana, the shuttle stops at the Illinois Bus/Train Terminal and at the Illini Union. (Warning! The LEX shuttle can be extremely unreliable.)
