Main Text Linear Algebra, by Friedberg, Insel, and Spence (Fourth Edition)
Please make sure you get the Fourth Edition. It should be possible to get a used copy.

A First Course in Linear Algebra, by Robert A. Beezer, is a free textbook, available from the author's webpage as a pdf.

Grading The course grade is calculated as follows.
Final exam: 40%
Midterms: 2x20%=40%
Homework: 20%
Exam dates Wed Mar 5: Midterm 1, in class.
Fri Apr 18: Midterm 2, in class.
Fri May 9: Final exam, 1:30-4:30 PM, in normal lecture room.
Homework Homework assigned at each lecture will be posted on the daily log. It will be due in class usually on Friday, or on Monday the week of an exam.
