FThresholds :: isFPT

isFPT -- Checks whether a given number is the F-pure threshold

Synopsis

Description

Returns true if t is the F-pure threshold, otherwise it returns false. If Origin is true, it only checks it at the homogeneous maximal ideal.

The options are the same as in compareFPT.

i1 : R = ZZ/11[x,y];
i2 : f = x^3+y^2;
i3 : isFPT(9/11,f)

o3 = true
