There are now two ways to install Macaulay2 under Mac OS X:

• installing using homebrew
• downloading a disk image

We describe both of them below.

Installing using homebrew

Mahrud Sayrafi has created a "homebrew tap" supporting many binary distributions of Macaulay2. To install it that way, follow the instructions at our homebrew tap.

Installing by downloading a binary distribution

Choose your system from the list below.

If you don't see your system on the list above, or the latest version of Macaulay2 is not found there, then try the latest generic linux release in Generic/, try compiling from source code (see ../SourceCode/), or contact us.
